Opinion: Gov. Bello Is A God Sent To Kogi Youth – Obalaja

A die hard supporter of the Kogi state New Direction government, Mr Lanre Obalaja has described Kogi state governor, Alh Yahaya Bello as God sent to the Youth of Kogi State.

Mr Lanre who is the Ward Special Assistant to the governor Ayere/Arinmah Ward in Ijumu Local government said that the governor deserve accolades for providing an enabling environment for the youth of the state to participate in politics which has shaped and improved the societal lifestyles of the youth across the state.

He said that the previous administrations had used the youths of the state as a tool to perpetrate and perpetuate political vices, commending Governor Yahaya Bello for engaging the youths in a productive political exercises.

He said that the youth across the state has felt the impact of the governor either through political appointment or through empowerment which has manifest in the resolve of the youth of the state to massively support the re election of the governor beyond 2019.

He added that the governor has been able to secure the live and property of the people, embark on massive infrastructural projects which include the construction of roads across the three senatorial districts of the state, provision of water and prioritizing the welfare of the civil servants through payment of salaries and gratuities.

He said that though the oppositions have tried to discredit the governor by sponsoring some jobeless youth to rant on social media that the governor is not paying salaries, Mr Lanre said that genuine workers are receiving their salaries every month and the governor is not distracted from making policies that will continue to impact the live of the people of the state.

He tasked all youths across the state to remain steadfast and committeed towards the re election of the governor in the forthcoming election.
